Job Purpose/Role Description:
MASS Analytics is in a high growth phase and our sale pipeline is expanding. We are looking for a proven top performer and sales leader a Senior Commercial Director to power us forwards in order to meet our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for crafting and justifying your own sales strategy and plans aligned to assigned verticals based on your experience. You will be accountable for a new business revenue target and working in partnership with Customer Success a renewals target.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a strategic sales plan in line with our sales methodology to achieve the company target and expand customer base.
- Forecast and develop your annual sales plan for your assigned verticals to secure expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
- Work in partnership with Business Development to prospect named accounts effectively and secure meetings.
- Devise and present sales revenue expenses profit and conversion reports based on realistic forecasts through the adoption of a data driven approach to sales.
- Build and promote strong longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their priorities business needs and objectives.
- Effectively and confidently communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations through being the commercial lead throughout the pitch process.
- Understand the media landscape and vertical specific trends through researching emerging trends to recommend new company offerings/products to satisfy customers needs and expand MASS Analytics portfolio.
- Report and act on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- Maintain pipeline coverage by tracking changing trends economic indicators competitors supply and demand.
- Continuously listen to customers and spot market and demand changes to steer new products development towards satisfying market needs and ensure that MASS Analytics are at the forefront of the competition.
- Liaise with the Solutions Marketing Science and Customer Success teams to ensure the successful implementation of the above and ensure customer satisfaction throughout.
- Liaise with the Marketing Department to propose and implement innovative customers growth plans.
- Achieve revenue growth for the company and hit your own sales targets by owning your growth plan deciding on key objectives and executing on supporting tactics.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Successful previous experience (8 years) in sales or growth teams consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
- A Mathematical/Engineering/Statistical Degree is a plus.
- Comfortable with Data Analytics/Science techniques and software.
- Experience in B2B sales in the Tech industry is desirable.
