سيتم تحديثك بأحدث تنبيهات الوظائف عبر البريد الإلكترونيAs a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring all affairs related to the purchasing function of our hotel. You will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services, ensuring we utilize high-quality materials that deliver the best value for money while adhering to the hotel's budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to source goods and services efficiently. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards and adhering to budgetary guidelines.
Quality Control: Oversee the quality and pricing of goods received. Ensure compliance with contracts by inspecting deliveries and reporting discrepancies to the storekeeper.
Scheduling: Coordinate the timing and logistics of receiving goods with the storekeeper, ensuring that all deliveries are organized and executed smoothly.
Goods Handling: Ensure that all items are collected by the designated personnel from the relevant department upon delivery.
Documentation: Attach purchasing order forms to invoices, following the established goods receiving procedures to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Market Research: Assist the Purchasing Chief in conducting market research and price comparisons. Communicate with suppliers to gather necessary pricing information.
Site Visits: Accompany the Purchasing Chief to inspect supplier factories and storage facilities when needed, ensuring compliance with Rixos Hotels' quality standards.
Stock Management: Collaborate with the Cost Controller in conducting monthly or bi-weekly stock counts. Prepare comprehensive cost count reports for review.
Returns: Manage the return of any goods that do not meet Rixos Hotels’ standards, protecting the company’s interests.
Supplier Coordination: Direct the purchasing driver for urgent or small quantity purchases, ensuring timely acquisition of necessary goods.
Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest quality standards in procurement, selecting only the best products that align with Rixos Hotels’ values.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential, providing you with insights into operational needs and supplier relations.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills are a must, allowing you to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members and suppliers.
