Hill International is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Planning Engineer 2 to join our team in Doha Qatar. Job Summary:
The Senior Planning Engineer 2 will be responsible for providing planning and scheduling services for a variety of construction projects in Doha Qatar. This includes developing and maintaining project schedules monitoring progress identifying potential delays and risks and providing recommendations for corrective actions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project planning and scheduling as well as excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
Provide recommendations for corrective actions to keep projects on track
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones
Prepare progress reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Conduct schedule analysis and identify opportunities for improvement
Provide guidance and support to junior planning engineers
Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling
Ensure compliance with project requirements and deadlines
Keep uptodate with industry trends and best practices in project planning and scheduling
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for construction projects
Proficiency in Primavera P6 software
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Experience working on projects in Qatar or the Middle East region is preferred
PMP or PSP certification is a plus
