Position: Procurement Category Manager Oil Lubricants
Location: Cairo Egypt
Contract Details: Fulltime
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team in Cairo Egypt. As the Procurement Category Manager for Oil Lubricants you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for sourcing negotiating and procuring oil lubricants for our companys operations in KSA. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our company has a reliable and costeffective supply of oil lubricants to support our operations.
Preferred industry experience
Raw material (Base oil Additive Chemicals Packaging materials Freight forwarding Inbound Outbound logistics (Oils)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for oil lubricants in KSA in line with company objectives and budgetary requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to identify potential costsaving opportunities and mitigate any potential supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their lubricant requirements and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors and actively seek out new partnerships to expand our supplier network.
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations related to oil lubricants procurement in KSA. (operating from Cairo office)
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure cost savings targets are met.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement specifically in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement categories preferably in oil lubricants.
- Indepth knowledge of procurement processes supplier management and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
