Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our Innovation team in Bahrain on a 1-year contract. As a crucial member of our Research and Development (R&D) team, you will play an instrumental role in redesigning our user interface while ensuring the product's quality, security, and performance. This position demands strong analytical skills, extensive technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.

Main Responsibilities

Frontend Development: You will be responsible for developing a new user interface using ReactJS. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the application's usability and optimizing its performance to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Technological Choices: You will evaluate and suggest various programming languages and frameworks tailored to meet project needs. Your insights will be vital in driving technological decisions that align with our innovation goals.

Database Design and Implementation: A key part of your role will involve designing a database structure that supports the dashboard's functionalities. You will also ensure effective integration with the frontend, maintaining data integrity and accessibility.

Documentation: Producing detailed technical documentation is essential for this role. Your documentation will facilitate maintenance and enable future upgrades to the product, ensuring seamless transitions for the team.

Security Assurance: You will be tasked with guaranteeing maximum security for the application. Implementing robust security practices is imperative; no vulnerabilities will be tolerated. Your expertise in web security practices will help protect against threats such as XSS and CSRF vulnerabilities.

Skills Required

Programming Languages: Mastery of ReactJS and associated web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, is essential for this role.

Database Proficiency: You should have the ability to design and deploy databases, preferably using PostgreSQL or MySQL, tailored to project requirements.

Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, database management systems, and RESTful APIs is necessary for effective workflow management.

Security Knowledge: A deep understanding of web security practices, including OWASP guidelines, session management, and vulnerability protection, is crucial for safeguarding our applications.

English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English skills are required to facilitate collaboration with international teams.

Documentation Skills: Experience in creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation is vital.
