In this crucial role, the Crisis Manager will be instrumental in crafting and executing robust crisis management strategies, ensuring our organization can effectively navigate challenging situations. This position entails coordinating emergency responses, performing comprehensive risk assessments, creating communication plans, and leading training initiatives focused on crisis management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and sustain the Crisis Management Framework and Plan.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve crisis management capabilities.
- Serve as the Crisis Coordinator, overseeing crisis response activities.
- Conduct training sessions for members of the Crisis Management Committee, including chairs and secretariat.
- Organize and lead regular crisis drills and scenario planning exercises.
- Refine and uphold the Incident Management Framework.
- Collaborate with the Emergency Management Framework and other related frameworks to ensure cohesive operations.

Desired candidate profile
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Risk Management, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in crisis management or emergency response, demonstrating a solid track record in the field.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of incident management frameworks, with demonstrated success in managing diverse groups during significant incidents.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities, allowing for informed decision-making based on actionable data.
- Proficiency in gathering and analyzing data from various sources to produce comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 22361:2022, ISO 22301:2019, and BS 11200:2014 is preferred.
