The responsibilities of the Microsoft Security & Endpoint Manager Consultant include but are not limited to the following:
Assist the End Users being able to open and use the application on supported endpoints.
Review the health and performance of Microsoft 365 services.
Implement and manage security controls to protect Microsoft 365 data and services from unauthorized access.
Provision and manage Microsoft Intune policies for device and application management including configuration compliance policies and conditional access rules.
Manage security patches and updates to address vulnerabilities and ensure system security.
Generate and deliver regular reports on endpoint security incidents compliance status and risk assessments.
Perform regular backups of critical data and ensure reliable disaster recovery capabilities.
Requirements
Experience:
- 5 years of handson experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) Configuration Manager or other endpoint management solutions.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Defender Azure Security solutions and security monitoring tools.
- Strong background in Microsoft 365 security architecture policies and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments compliance audits and security operations.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and security best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management policy enforcement and application management.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender Windows Defender ATP and other security toolsets.
- Expertise in Conditional Access Policies Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and other identity security solutions.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) Hybrid Identity Management and Microsoft Graph API.

The goal is to establish a resilient, secure, and adaptable IT environment that supports and propels the organization's objectives forward in an increasingly digital world. Our Microsoft 365, Security, Compliance, and Endpoint Manager Solution Architect is prepared to effectively assess and optimize your IT infrastructure, ensuring enhanced security and compliance. Key initial actions include: Conduct a Comprehensive Audit: Review the current IT infrastructure to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in security, compliance, and system integration Design Tailored Solutions: Develop specific Microsoft 365, security, compliance, and endpoint management strategies that align with organizational goals and requirements. Implement Robust Security Measures: Establish and deploy advanced security protocols and technologies to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure Compliance Alignment: Update and refine compliance measures to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Optimize Endpoint Management: Design and implement endpoint management strategies to enhance device security and user productivity. Integrate Systems Seamlessly: Facilitate the integration of new solutions with existing systems to maintain operational continuity and data integrity Lead and Mentor: Guide and support a team of IT professionals in their daily operations, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment Collaborate Across Departments: Work with various departments to ensure IT strategies effectively support organizational objectives and workflows Monitor and Report: Regularly assess the performance of implemented solutions, providing reports and insights to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
