Roles and responsibilities

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, user research, and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for developing user-centric designs for web and mobile applications. This role involves conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, designing engaging interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the design vision is seamlessly integrated into the product development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyze findings to inform and guide design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate and visualize design concepts and interaction ideas.
• UI Design: Design high-quality pixel-perfect UI elements that are aesthetically pleasing, consistent, and aligned with the brand's guidelines.
• UX Design: Create intuitive user experiences for web and mobile platforms. Perform usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth design-to-development workflow.
• Design Systems: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems to establish a cohesive visual language across all products.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation to communicate design decisions and specifications to the development team.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies. Seek opportunities to improve skills and design processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in UI/UX or product design.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating proficiency in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe XD.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; experience with motion design is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in finance or trading sectors.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and Agile methodologies.
