Roles and responsibilities
The CLM Functional Consultant will assist in implementing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, focusing on configuring and customizing the system to meet client requirements. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their contract management processes and providing recommendations for optimization and automation within the CLM tool. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, creating business and solution documents, developing user stories and test cases, troubleshooting issues, supporting functional testing, and assisting in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment. The consultant will also participate in requirements gathering sessions, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure the CLM solution meets quality standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze client business processes, contract types, data sources, workflows, and reporting needs for contract lifecycle management.
- Design and document the CLM tool configuration, including templates, clauses, metadata, rules, roles, permissions, integrations, and dashboards.
- Configure the CLM tool using best practices, ensuring alignment with platform standards.
- Test and validate the CLM tool configuration, resolving any issues to meet functional and technical requirements.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and training, and assist with deployment and handover to the client’s support team.

Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of technical and functional aspects of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools
- Certification in any Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools
- Proven ability to lead both functional and project management aspects of large CLM implementations.
- Skilled in translating business requirements into technical specifications, designing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting CLM tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Visio).
- Strong communication skills with experience providing CLM tool demos to prospective clients and leading Business Analyst roles in large projects.
- The role is primarily remote; however, if you are based in the London area, a hybrid work setup will be expected.
