Job Summary:
The PAM Specialist is responsible for the administration implementation and maintenance of the Privileged Access Management solutions within the organization and at customer premises. This role focuses on ensuring that privileged accounts are managed monitored and secured in accordance with industry best practices and organizational policies. The PAM Specialist will work closely with IT security and compliance teams to safeguard critical assets and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- PAM System Management:
- Administer and manage PAM solutions including installation configuration and upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain the health of PAM systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and secure privileged accounts including account creation modification and deactivation.
- Access Control:
- Implement and enforce privileged access controls ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive systems and data.
- Monitor and review access logs and reports to detect and respond to unauthorized access attempts.
- Manage password vaults session management and account authentication mechanisms.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure that PAM processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits of privileged accounts and access controls.
- Generate and review audit reports to identify and address security gaps.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate PAM solutions with other security technologies and systems.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on the use and importance of PAM solutions.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to privileged access management.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay uptodate with the latest PAM technologies and best practices.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new PAM tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 1 year of work experience.
- Experience in IT security with a focus on privileged access management.
- Handson experience with PAM solutions such as Delinea or CyberArk or Beyond Trust or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of access control concepts identity management and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with scripting and automation for managing PAM solutions.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
