Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Management Leader to join our team for a major 5-year consulting program with a public sector organization focused on the operation and maintenance of roads and drainage assets. The Operations Leader will report directly to the Program Director and will be responsible for leading consulting and client teams in the of operational transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•tLeadership & Team Management
•tLead and inspire a cross-functional team of consultants and client personnel dedicated to operational excellence.
•tPromote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance within the team.
•tProject Development &
•tDesign and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery related to roads and drainage assets.
•tOversee the of transformational projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.
•tMonitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
•tStakeholder Engagement
•tWork closely with client stakeholders to identify operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
•tProvide regular updates and reports to the Program Director and client executives on project status, challenges, and outcomes.
•tContinuous Improvement & Innovation
•tStay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in operations management.
•tFacilitate training and workshops to enhance the operational capabilities of the client team.

Qualifications:
Experience
•tMinimum of 15 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the roads or drainage sectors.
•tDemonstrated success in leading transformational projects and managing diverse teams.
Education
•tBachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Skills
•tStrong leadership and team development skills.
•tExcellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
•tProficient in operations management principles and methodologies.
•tOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Language Skills
•tArabic language skills are preferred but not essential.
