About the role
The PMO is responsible for providing guidance and support to the project management team on the daily activities and for collaborating with the internal Delivery domain to develop projects and programs. The PMO contributes to Celfocus highquality standards client satisfaction and the businesss sustainable growth.
As a part of your job you will:
- Ensure that all team members are aligned with the project/program strategy;
- Knowledge base management & organization;
- Responsible for project/program reporting;
- Responsible for hosting status meetings and operating committees;
- Responsible for communication and standardization of working practices;
- Provide resource management support to project/program management (staffing staff motivation etc);
- Responsible for the management of the KPI cycle (from definition to closure);
- Support the management team with uptodate reporting for decision making;
- Ensure that all team members have a clear view of risks assumptions issues and dependencies;
- Support the team in managing schedules key milestones and deadlines;
- Continuously improves processes and methodologies;
- Evangelize the use of the defined project/program processes methods and tools across all teams;
- Document all project (scope changes MoMs key decisions etc);
- Ensure the regulatory control and support program management with compliance issues;
- Support the management team with all procurement requirements;
- Be the SPOC for the client PMO.
- Identify and assess risks associated with strategic projects.
What are we looking for
- Demonstrate proven project/program management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate the projects/programs team manage timelines risks and issues and to ensure the deliverables are presented on time and within the budget;
- Proven experience of negotiating facilitating and communicating with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project/program objectives progress and deliverables;
- Demonstrate risk management skills with the ability to identify potential risks develop risk mitigation plans and ensure that all team members have a clear understanding of risks assumptions issues and dependencies;
- Demonstrate procurement and regulatory knowledge with ability to support the management team on procurement needs and regulatory compliance matters;
- Ensure a continuous improvement approach by reviewing and evaluating project processes to identify areas for improvement and making necessary changes;
- Mandatory: Fluency in English (both written/oral);
- Nice to have: Project Management certification (PMP Prince2 or other equivalent);
- Nice to have: Previous program PMO experience namely in Waterfall and Agile environments.
