We are currently looking for ASTcertified Security Guards to join our team for longterm permanent positions in the Lower Mainland.

Requirements

Job Description:

• Lawful and Ethical Conduct: Act lawfully and with honesty and integrity. Treat everyone with courtesy equality and without discrimination. Perform duties with a commitment to protecting store customers employees and assets.
  
• Licensing and Identification: Always carry a valid security workers license while on duty.
  
• Punctuality and Appearance: Arrive on time in uniform and neatly dressed.
  
• Surveillance and Theft Prevention: Be vigilant for theft and assist store employees by creating a deterrent to theft through presence and apprehension of shoplifters.
  
• Arrest and Use of Force: Ensure arrests comply with the Criminal Code of Canada (Sections 494 25 & 26).
  
• Pursuit of Suspects: Pursue shoplifters safely and only on foot. Do not engage in unsafe actions such as vehicular pursuits.
  
• Incident Reporting: Report all criminal incidents to store management and submit detailed reports before the end of your shift.
  
• Interaction with Customers and Employees: Limit conversations to necessary interactions and do not use personal electronic devices except in emergencies.
  
• Shift Protocols: Report to store management at the beginning of each shift and sign the security log.
  

Requirements:

• License: Valid Security Worker s License.
  
• Certification: Current basic Security Training (BST) certificate
  
• Experience: At least 1 year of AST experience (required).
  
• Skills: Excellent communication observational and problemsolving skill
