Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager.

Scope:
Finance Manager will be responsible for oversee and analyze financial performance identifying areas for improvementcost savings and potential revenue enhancements. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balancesheets income statements cash flow statements and project financial performance reports

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets and cash flow projections ensuring alignment with projectscope timelines and resource allocation.
• Oversee and analyze financial performance identifying areas for improvement cost savings and potentialrevenue enhancements.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets income statements cash flowstatements and project financial performance reports.
• Manage and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable ensuring timely collection of receivables promptpayment of payables and adherence to credit policies.
• Provide financial guidance and support to project managers senior management and other departments.
• Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to identify potential risks ensure financial integrity and maintaincompliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends accounting standards and constructionspecific financial regulations.
• Monitor and analyze project costs throughout the project lifecycle identifying variances from budgets andimplementing corrective actions.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking including project feasibility studies investmentevaluations and financing options.
• Oversee the financial aspects of contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial control systems and risk management strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks factoring companies and leasing companies to securefavorable financing terms and conditions.
• Negotiate and manage credit facilities lines of credit and other financing arrangements.
• Provide financial information and documentation to financial institutions to support loan applications andrenewals.
• Maintain open communication with financial institutions to address any concerns or questions.
• Monitor and manage financial covenants and reporting requirements for existing financing arrangements.
• Mentor and train junior finance staff fostering their professional development and contributing to a strongfinance team.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 12 years experience (with 5 years of experience in financial management preferably in constructionindustry).
• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction project management processes and terminology.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Proven expertise in financial analysis budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles practices and standards (CFA is a plus).
• Proficient in financial software accounting programs.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A team player with the ability to motivate and lead others.
• Relevant certification (e.g. CMA ).
