About the role:
To support our growing technological excellence we are looking for an experienced System Engineer Architecture to be part of the team engaged in development and support of applications by undertaking different roles as and when required by project and by the Project Manager/Business Analyst. Develop & enhance systems to specified requirements within budget and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Activities may involve software design development testing quality assurance and support.
- Develop and enhance systems to specified requirements within the budget and on time.
- Ensure errorfree program code within agreed timescales using the tools and techniques specified by the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation of the software development and enhancement projects for ease of quality assurance testing operation and support.
- Ensure that 100% of software is peer reviewed and unit tested and ensure that all functional and nonfunctional requirements are met.
- Conduct rootcause analysis of reported incidents in operational systems and ensure right changes to the code test and promote following the standard change management process.
- Work with solution architects to design suitable technical architecture to meet business requirements.
- Participate and be responsible for the testing training and implementation phases of projects.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders/suppliers involved in the project and/or maintenance/support of applications.
- Ensure IT process and procedures are implemented and followed in line with all established Corporate IT policies ISO 20000 & ISO 27001 standards for IT Services managed by MATARIT.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
- Keep abreast with any market trends and developments.
- Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption.
Qualifications
About you:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent with minimum 3 years of jobrelated experience.
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas Aviation domain ERP Systems Business Intelligence & Analytics applications.
- Excellent communication skills with written and spoken command of the English language.
- Data literacy and analytical skills.
