RN Supervisor - NO WEEKENDS REQUIRED

SCHEDULE : MONDAY FRIDAY 10AM 6PM

This RN Supervisor from 10am 2pm primarily supports LPN Unit Manager on Wing 1 performing RN duties including but not limited to; admissions assessments and assisting in care planning. May also assist in new hire orientation as needed. From 2pm 6pm will assume main RN Supervisor responsibilities for the facility. Will provide coverage for Unit Manager in their absence and support overall nursing department operations with other duties as assigned.

• RN Supervisor organizes/oversees/supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignments
• Demonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing Practice
• RN Supervisor will identify & respond appropriately & timely to patient needs
• Monitor observe & document vital signs treatments administered & patient responses.
• RN Supervisor will administer medications & treatments as needed
• Communicate & direct services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members resident family or medical staff
• Identify & follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team physicians & other vendors/services
• Perform RN assessment to residents post incidents or change in condition
• Lead & direct emergency situations (Fire Elopement etc.)
• Maintain accurate nursing report staffing sheets & census roster

Requirements:

• Current & good standing RN License in State of New York
• Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimers patients is desirable
• Progressive nursing experience supervisory experience preferred
• Dedicated to providing extraordinary quality compassionate care to each resident
• Genuinely interested in helping ill injured disabled & elderly
• Have patience & willingness to assist any residents & coworkers
• Have excellent communication interpersonal customer service & organization skills
• Able to work well under pressure flexible & will work harmoniously with all staff
