Job Title: Rigger

Location: Qatar

Job Summary:
The Rigger will be responsible for preparing and aligning the necessary equipment to lift move and position heavy materials safely. The individual must have a deep understanding of rigging methods load calculations and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up rigging and lifting equipment such as ropes pulleys cranes and winches to safely move large and heavy materials.
• Inspect rigging equipment before use and ensure that it meets all safety and operational requirements.
• Work closely with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Align level and anchor machinery.
• Signal crane or hoist operators to safely move loads into position.
• Dismantle rigging equipment after job completion and safely store it.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injury or accidents during the lifting process.
• Interpret blueprints sketches and project specifications to ensure proper rigging.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Rigger or similar role in the construction or oil & gas industries.
• Familiarity with rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and rigging plans.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in rigging.
• Good physical strength and stamina.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certification or license (e.g. NCCCO Rigger Certification etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in largescale construction projects or industrial settings.
