Our client a wellknown dental clinic is urgently looking for a Dental Nurse to be based in Saudi Arabia. The job holder will assist one dentist and work 6 days in a week with one day off.
This role will have the following responsibilities but not limited to:
- Assisting dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary
- Assisting dentist with procedures when necessary
- Providing great patient care
- Preparing patients for dental work
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments setting up instrument trays preparing materials and assisting with dental procedures
- Recording treatment information in patient records
- Exposing dental xrays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental xray equipment
- Giving patients information on dental hygiene oral health care and plaque control programs
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist
- Caring for dental equipment
- Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts
- Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory
Requirements
To be successful in this requirement the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:
- Diploma or bachelor s degree in Nursing/ Diploma in Dental Nursing/Bachelor of Dental Surgery/Any course in Dental with minimum 2 years duration
- Minimum 3 years experience working as dental assistant.
- Dental Assistant as a RN or Dental Assistant (as long as the candidate has worked in a dental facility)
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Consistent professional appearance and attitude
- Preferably can join immediately

The Ideal Candidate would have: Education Bachelor s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Technical/Professional writing, or a related field. Master s degree preferred. Experience Must have over 10 years of experience in a senior communications role, healthcare experience preferred. Certifications/Other requirements as applicable Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English, particularly as related to the requirements of Journalism. Perceptive in handling matters of a confidential nature; adequate background in the cultures, traditions, and beliefs of the various nationalities of his readership.
