The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and commercial law, as well as mergers and acquisitions. This role requires a lawyer who can provide expert legal advice, manage complex transactions, and contribute to the growth and success of our clients' businesses. The potential candidate shouldhave a proven track record in leading domestic or cross-border M&A transactions.Key Responsibilities: Client Management and Advisory: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailoredlegal advice. Advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters including corporate governance, compliance, andregulatory issues. Provide strategic guidance on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiation of terms, andpreparing all the required transaction documents, and coordinating with financial advisors and focal pointsfrom the client s side. Transaction Management: Lead and manage transactions from inception to completion, ensuring all legal aspects are handledefficiently and effectively. Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements. Coordinate with other professionals such as accountants, financial advisors, and other lawyers to ensure acomprehensive service to clients. Advising on employment law issues, including executive compensation, employee benefits, and draftingemployment agreements. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advisory and transactional work. Stay abreast of developments in corporate and commercial law in Qatar, as well as mergers and acquisitions,to provide up-to-date advice. Advising on corporate governance matters including director responsibilities, shareholder agreements, andcompliance with corporate statutes and regulations.
