Key Responsibilities:
- Structured Routine Creation: Design and implement a structured daily routine that balances academic extracurricular and leisure activities to foster a stable and nurturing environment for the girls.
- Developmental Support: Utilize your psychology background to address and support the emotional and developmental needs of the children ensuring they thrive both academically and personally.
- Educational Guidance: Provide tailored educational support including homework assistance and promote a love for learning through engaging activities and creative methods.
- Emotional Wellbeing: Monitor and support the girls emotional health offering guidance and tools to help them navigate childhood challenges and develop resilience.
- Parental Collaboration: Work closely with the parents to align on educational goals and developmental milestones ensuring consistent communication and a unified approach to the children s upbringing.
- Cultural Enrichment: Introduce and engage the children in culturally enriching experiences that broaden their perspectives and enhance their understanding of the world.
- Travel Support: Accompany the family during travel ensuring the continuity of the children s routine and educational progress.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a governess or in a similar role with a focus on child development and psychology.
- Educational Background: A degree in psychology child development or a related field is essential.
- Personality: Compassionate patient and highly organized with a strong commitment to nurturing the holistic development of children.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
- Cultural Sensitivity: An understanding and respect for cultural practices especially in a multicultural household.
