What is the Role?:We are looking for an established Estimator, to join a Tier 3 Commercial Construction team, with a strong commitment to high quality and client satisfaction. In this role, you will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the business, building relationships with clients and mentoring more junior Estimators.

Key Responsibilities:- Preparing Detailed Cost Estimates: Accurately estimate costs for residential and commercial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Tender Preparation: Develop and submit competitive tenders, ensuring all aspects of the project are comprehensively covered.
- Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best rates and terms.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and work closely with the project management team to ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide cost-effective solutions, and maintain strong relationships.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and incorporate these into your estimates and tenders.
Qualifications & Experience:- Experience in a role where you have led Estimating for Commercial Construction projects.
- 5 or more years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on residential and/or small-to-medium commercial projects.
- Proven ability to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a network of reliable subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
