Conditons of the Position
Work Location: Greater Zurich Area Switzerland
Homeoffice: For residents of European countries: 1 day per week. For residents of Switzerland: at least 2 days per week (due to social insurance regulations)
Tasks
Your Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide the R&D team in creating new high voltage components and improving existing products.
- Manage the complete product development process from initial concept to final production ensuring adherence to technical standards and meeting customer requirements.
- Work closely with sales project management production and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new products.
- Keep abreast of industry developments technical standards and regulatory guidelines to ensure both compliance and innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies.
- Formulate and implement R&D strategies that align with the companys overall business objectives.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders presenting updates on projects research outcomes and strategic plans.
Requirements
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Significant experience in designing high voltage products particularly high voltage accessories.
- Demonstrated success in leading an R&D team within a global context.
- Deep understanding of industry standards and technical regulations for high voltage products.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a strategic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proven ability to inspire and guide a team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Fluency in german and english is mandatory.
