We are seeking Drillers with experience in deep drilling to be based in KUWAIT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee the drilling equipment including drawworks mud pumps and drilling systems to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Monitor drilling parameters make necessary adjustments and troubleshoot issues to optimize drilling performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on safety in all drilling activities.
- Collaborate closely with the drilling team including assistant drillers derrickhands and roughnecks to ensure smooth and efficient rig operations.
- Complete daily drilling reports and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and safety incidents.
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior members of the drilling team.
Qualifications:
- Experience of 3years as a Driller with mandatory experience in 2500HP and above in deep drilling operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in drilling operations is preferred.
- Experience operating and maintaining 3000 HP drilling equipment.
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to lead by example in this regard.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in highpressure situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the drilling team.
- Mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of drilling equipment.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and remote onshore environment.
- Valid Well Control Certification (IWCF or IADC).
- Safety training certifications (e.g. H2S First Aid Firefighting).
