The purpose of this job is to lead sales and business development efforts for Clariants polypropylene catalyst portfolio in the Middle East region. This role involves collaborating with key regional customers to advance Clariants global Polyolefins strategy and achieve financial objectives. Support for this position is provided by the Polyolefins team including and not limited to by the Product Management Technology Advisors R&D Strategic Partners and the local Clariant team.



Responsibilities

  • To Drive sales and business development for Clariants polypropylene catalyst portfolio in the Middle East.
  • Work closely with key regional customers to further Clariants global Polyolefins strategy and meet financial goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Drive sales efforts by identifying potential clients generating leads and closing deals.
  • Be responsible for the entire sales process with customers with the support of Clariants dedicated teams.
  • Coordinate with the global and regional teams to implement Clariants overall sales strategy.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of polypropylene products including their applications benefits and market positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Masters) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of polypropylene products their applications and industry trends.
  • Technical expertise in polymer chemistry and/or chemical engineering is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to train mentor and develop sales team members
