Project Manager Opportunity: Lead the Windows Workstream in a HighProfile IT Renewal Project

About the Project
We are supporting our client with a major IT redesign project which is part of a broader and highly strategic program aimed at overhauling scheduling systems across multiple regional operations centers and a central network control center. Among the various initiatives within this program one project stands out as the most strategically vital.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for steering the Windows workstream within a key subproject ensuring that this critical component is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning and coordination of the workstream engaging with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Control & Monitoring: Oversee both organizational and technical aspects of the Windows workstream ensuring that all tasks are executed effectively.
- Communication: Serve as the communication bridge with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and management ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project.
- Documentation: Manage comprehensive documentation and followup on project results contributing to the creation of releases for unit delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control as the project approaches its crucial production launch in Q1 2025.
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing and implementing IT projects particularly those involving handovers to line organizations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Proven experience (5 years) in managing complex multistakeholder environments.
- Tool Proficiency: At least 3 years of experience with Confluence and Jira and 5 years with MS Project and ThinkCell.
- Agile Methodologies: Certification or proven knowledge in Agile frameworks such as SCRUM SAFe or equivalent.
- Fluency in German is required.
Preferred:
- SCRUM/SAFe Expertise: Handson experience with SCRUM or SAFe in a project management context.
- Documentation Skills: High proficiency in documenting and following up on project results using industrystandard tools.
