Overview
The Python Developer plays a crucial role in our organization contributing to the development and maintenance of our software applications. They are responsible for writing efficient reusable and testable code using Python and related frameworks ensuring the overall performance and responsiveness of the applications. The Python Developer collaborates closely with the development team taking part in the full software development lifecycle to deliver highquality solutions that meet our customers needs.
Key responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining highquality software using Python and related frameworks.
- Designing and implementing efficient and reusable code for various applications.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs to ensure the performance and stability of applications.
- Writing effective and scalable code for both frontend and backend components.
- Participating in code reviews and actively providing feedback to ensure high quality and standards.
- Integrating userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with serverside logic.
- Implementing security and data protection measures.
- Testing and debugging programs to ensure software functionality and optimization.
- Documenting software specifications and training users to operate new programs.
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve development processes.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Python its best practices and related frameworks such as Django.
- Proficiency in serverside logic and integrating frontend components with serverside logic.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL ensuring applications implement data security and protection.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to the overall success of the teams goals.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git for code versioning and collaboration.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications.
- Experience in software testing and debugging to ensure software functionality and optimization.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to deliver highquality work within deadlines.
- Continuous learning mindset and the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Certifications in Python or related technologies will be an added advantage.
