Role Overview
Were looking for an Operations Training Specialist to oversee the organizational training strategy for our operations team and assess its impact. Youll identify training and developmental needs to drive training initiatives that build loyalty to the company while working across departments to get the team up to speed in their specific vertical. The ideal candidate will enhance the teams skills performance productivity and quality of work.
Main Responsibilities
1 Planning and Coordinating:
- Map out develop and schedule training plans with the Training Manager and relevant stakeholders
- Develop a training calendar with the Training Manager and select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations mentoring onthejob training professional development classes)
- Coordinate with trainers subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure availability and alignment with training objectives
2 Participant Management:
- Communicate with participants regarding training schedules requirements and any pretraining materials
- Address participant inquiries and concerns providing necessary information and support
- Conduct or assist in trainthetrainer sessions with the help of trainers
3 Administrative Tasks:
- Design and prepare training materials like training curriculums SOPs training visuals such as presentations etc
- Maintain accurate records of training activities participant attendance and evaluation results
- Prepare trainingrelated documentation such as training agendas handouts and certificates
- Handle posttraining tasks such as compiling feedback from participants and trainers
4 Communication:
- Collaborate with the Training Manager Operations Team and crossfunctional teams on SOPs that need to be documented
- Serve as a liaison between trainers trainees and other stakeholders
- Communicate training objectives and expectations and update all relevant parties
- Coordinate with the Training Manager or other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and training needs
5 Evaluation and Reporting:
- Collect feedback each session from trainees and trainers to evaluate training effectiveness (postsurvey evaluation)
- Analyze training data and prepare reports on key metrics such as participant satisfaction learning outcomes and training impact on employees skills and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator)
- Make recommendations for improvements based on evaluation results
6 Monitoring and Tracking:
- Monitor the quality of training delivery and materials identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Assist the Training Manager in updating the training curriculum and training records
- Regularly ensuring that all operationalrelated SOPs are updated and scheduling document audits if needed
- Stay uptodate on new training methods and techniques
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Training Specialist or any similar position in the food & beverage industry
- Exceptional communication and writing skills in English
Knowledge & Competency
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiar with Google Docs Sheets and Slides
- Experience with training apps and other training platforms is a major plus
