• Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor shipment progress and update stakeholders on status troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure accurate tracking of shipped items and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all shipping activities ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Claims Handling: Manage claims for lost or damaged goods coordinating with carriers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
• CrossFunctional Support: Collaborate with sales customer service and warehouse teams to synchronize shipping operations with overall business goals.

Essential Qualifications for a Shipping Coordinator

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role with a proven track record of managing shipping operations effectively.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• ProblemSolving Skills: Excellent problemsolving abilities to address and resolve shipping challenges promptly.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping documentation and inventory records.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in shipping and logistics software as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications for Shipping Coordination

• Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g. CLTD CSCP).
