The position in a nutshell

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team on a limitedtime contract. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of a scalable secure and well designed software product. Youll be working closely with designers analysts quality assurance and other teams to translate each design into reallife products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of handson experience in Java development and its ecosystem.

Note: This is a 1year limitedtime contract with a possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance and involves regular travel to Saudi Arabia for project implementation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain highquality Javabased applications.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.

• Design and implementation of lowlatency highavailability and performant applications

• Design & Implementation of RESTful APIs for user facing elements

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

• Engage in regular travel to Saudi Arabia for project collaboration and client meetings.

• Collaborating in a multidisciplinary and international team

• Discovering learning and implementing new technologies

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Experience in architecting designing and implementing large scale systems

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java development.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Experience with Relational Database Systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL etc.

• Good understanding of fundamental design principles for a scalable application

• Strong unit test and debugging skills

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Willingness to travel regularly to Saudi Arabia.

Nice to have

• Experience and understanding of CI/CD principles

• Familiarity with nonrelational databases

• Proficiency in distributed systems and concurrent programming

• Knowledge of containerized systems and experience with Kubernetes
