Working Hours
Work will be scheduled normally from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday however there may be times when it is necessary for the employees to work after duty hours or weekends in support of specific tasks. Although the schedule may have to be flexible it will not exceed 40 hours per week. Temporary alternate work locations may be assigned.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Master of Science in Economics Statistics Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Shall have at least 35 years of related work and/or graduate experience in MixedMethods Research Economics Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working with large and varied datasets.
- Shall have at least 8 years of experience using Microsoft Office software programs including Word Outlook PowerPoint Access Excel and Visio.
- Shall have experience in data collection and analysis to support highlevel decisions.
- Shall complete the following specific computerbased training within 30 days of start: Air Force Risk Management Fundamentals Course 2020 FMA300 Managers Internal Control Program (MICP) Risk Assessment Review DCS300 Decision Support
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Shall provide professional studies reports analyses and recommendation(s) technical and scientific support.
- Shall coordinate with stakeholders/beneficiaries to assist with datarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Shall evaluate large data sets to establish best practices and eliminate uncertainty surrounding existing and proposed systems and system interfaces.
- Shall recommend options and propose mockups for rollup metrics reports and management tools.
- Shall write review design and/or critique strategic operational and tacticallevel objectives related to informatics and knowledge management.
- Shall assist with design presentations.
- Shall support the compilation and analysis of data authoring tools and references and conducting special studies.
- Shall coordinate and meet at least once every two weeks with the study team to provide a summary of work accomplished and project future goals.
- Shall coordinate with the Data Scientist to maximize the knowledge base of the Air Force or Air Staff risk management and decisionmaking tools to assist with developing and analyzing data to support the Deliverables.
