Senior LP Test Engineer VOIS

Identify the performance test requirements and document/implement the performance test scenarios based on the SLAs and benchmarks.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain Performance test suites for different systems using L&P testing tools.
• Create Performance test status reports and send it to the project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with quality assurance team members and development teams to perform Performance testing.
• Ensure system performance by validating stability, scalability, and reliability of applications.
• Perform the root cause analysis of issues, identify bottlenecks and work with development teams in resolving them.
• Supporting the development team in tuning the application infrastructure for optimal performance and identifying coding improvements and best practices.
• Analyze the performance test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Evaluate Non-Functional Requirement documents and identify performance test needs; types of tests, scripting scenarios, volume projections, etc. to aggregate business and technical requirements into quality Systems and Services.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple groups to determine, gather and verify performance test needs.
• Perform heap and thread analysis, understand, and detect resource contention, etc to help in identifying the root cause of the issue.
• Suggest improvements and configuration changes that improve performance to enhance quality.
• Coordinate in documentation of test results to create summary reports to satisfy both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist in developing timeline estimates for completing test cycles within project plan to meet projects’ needs and timelines.
• Create and manage test scripts using industry best practices and standards to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
• Work closely with internal and external customers to understand technology requirements for key projects.
• Establish performance test objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles and use case scenarios.
• Measure and analyze performance data (workload, system and application).
• Solve complex problems and provide clear and concise reports with recommendations.
• Work closely with development teams, architects and engineers to test their products under load and make recommendations to improve performance, reliability and stability.
• Developing new testing methods that can be used to evaluate new products or technologies.
• Mentoring team members “Juniors” and review their work.
