BlackRock’s Global Product Solutions (GPS) BlackRock’s Global Product Solution (GPS) strives to catalyze firm growth by delivering for clients on the biggest asset management trends through expertly designed, scalable products and solutions. GPS ensures product priorities are consistent with overall firm strategy and growth aspirations and manages a transparent and disciplined product development process from ideation through implementation for innovative, new products. GPS partners closely with Client Businesses, Investment teams, and Corporate Functions to achieve the firm’s goals and objectives. BlackRock anticipates significant growth in Alternatives, across all asset classes (real estate, infrastructure, credit, private equity, and hedge funds). To support this growth GPS is seeking an experienced private markets product developer to join the team and take end to end responsibility for product design development and launch of all new private market’s funds. You will also be responsible for helping us build out a market leading private markets product capability as well as partnering with, and advising, senior private markets business leaders on how the industry is evolving and how BlackRock can increase its leadership in the private market ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to the product design and structuring process, manage the product approvals process, and oversee the end-to-end implementation process. • Help commercialisation of our private product suite, through deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and be able to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders • Coordinate with internal business teams (legal, business management, fund admin, operations, risk and portfolio analytics group) on new product development, custom solutions and other offerings. • Acquire and maintain a deep knowledge of BlackRock’s global product set and bring ideas and perspectives from outside the Firm, including conducting studies on the local industry landscape, competitor research, and client/market trends. • Keep abreast of market activity and competitor innovations. Liaise closely with members of the private markets product strategy teams to execute the strategy that contributes to the success of the regional private markets business. • Position and prioritize our private markets product suite and serve as a point of contact to address questions from the internal sales teams and external clients on all private market’s product structuring matters.
