Role Description
This is a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist role at DESAISIV. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our products and processes. They will conduct quality control, manage quality assurance, and perform quality audits. This role is based in Amman but offers flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications:
1- Planning and Strategy
Test Planning: Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts that cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
Strategy Development: Define and implement quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure continuous improvement in the development lifecycle.
2. Testing and Validation
Manual Testing: Execute manual tests to identify issues with the software's functionality, usability, and performance.
Automated Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
Regression Testing: Perform regression tests to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
3. Defect Management
Bug Identification: Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in software products.
Issue Tracking: Use issue tracking systems like JIRA to log and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
4. Documentation and Reporting
Test Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive test reports to stakeholders, summarizing test activities, results, and any issues discovered.
5. Continuous Improvement
Process Enhancement: Continuously review and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
6. Collaboration and Communication
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment on quality standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality issues.
