HPC Software Developer - DS DeepSource GmbH

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HPC Software Developer to join our team at DS DeepSource GmbH. As an HPC Software Developer you will play a critical role in designing and developing highperformance computing (HPC) software solutions for our clients in various industries. Your expertise in parallel programming optimization and performance tuning will be essential in creating efficient and scalable software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software solutions for highperformance computing (HPC) environments.
• Optimize and parallelize algorithms to maximize performance and scalability on HPC clusters.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and test software modules using HPC programming languages such as MPI OpenMP CUDA or OpenCL.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Analyze and debug performance bottlenecks and optimize code for efficient resource utilization.
• Stay up to date with the latest HPC technologies tools and industry trends.
• Document software designs architectures and implementation details.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and testing to ensure software quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in HPC software development.
• Strong knowledge of parallel programming languages and frameworks such as MPI OpenMP CUDA or OpenCL.
• Proficiency in optimizing and tuning code for performance and scalability.
• Experience with parallel algorithms and distributed computing.
• Understanding of HPC system architectures and technologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C Python or Fortran.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
