About the role
• In this role, your responsibility will be to conduct the qualitative and quantitative analysis for the Cargo department as directed by the team lead. Also, you will be required to work closely with the lead officers and support the development of solutions for the requirements received from the internal stakeholders which will enable the stakeholders to make faster decision and analysis.
• As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
• Develop and enhance required set of standard reports for Cargo Management; (daily, weekly and monthly reports) by using/upgrading existing, supporting the development of new systems, processes and ensures on time delivery of reports
• Update Cargo's repository of data [Data library (SharePoint) / Data Warehouse] effectively and maintain high quality standards at all times and regularly update the SharePoint access controls when a person joins or leaves the department.
• Perform Quality Assurance activities to validate requirements — To check if its properly documented, can be met through front-end solutions, data model verification, and source to target mapping is clear and documented as well.
• Active participation in ongoing discussions within Business Intelligence team to support all departmental decision-making within the Cargo Division.
• Support the Team Lead in all Projects (documentation and testing of Data Warehouse, develop, enhance Outstation reporting / dashboard requests, respond to the email queries from business users) within the Cargo Department and within Qatar Airways.
• Support communication, training, and documentation to enable successful user adoption and extended team member readiness.
• Ensure that in performance of the role, all uses, disclosures and requests of any information (in any form) are done in accordance with data protection principles adopted by the QR Group and are limited to what is reasonably required to accomplish the intended business purposes of the use, disclosure or request.
