Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Family Solicitor to join our team in Gravesend. The ideal candidate will possess experience and expertise in various aspects of Family and Children law both private and public and contribute to expanding our Family Law portfolio.

Candidate Profile and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in handling diverse Family law matters.
  • Excellent timemanagement skills and the ability to independently manage caseloads.
  • Strong passion for Family law.
  • Commercially aware and businessminded.
  • Personable with strong communication skills.
  • Proactive with a positive cando attitude.
  • Existing referral sources are highly advantageous.
  • Panel membership or a commitment to achieving it is desirable.

Key Duties:

  • Effectively manage and provide advice on all aspects of Family and Children Law cases including:
    • Private and Public matters
    • Divorce and Matrimonial issues
    • Domestic Abuse cases
    • Nonmolestation orders
  • Arrange and attend client meetings ensuring high standards of professional service and client care.
  • Negotiate with clients and other professionals to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Attend court hearings prison visits police stations and other offsite locations as needed.
  • Provide advocacy services.
  • Draft legal documents and court applications.
  • Handle Legal Aid work.
  • Conduct research and analyse documents and case law to ensure accurate advice and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
  • Stay updated on legal developments through journals and law reports.
