What you will be doing:

• Defend client companies in workers compensation cases.
• Provide legal counsel and representation throughout all stages of litigation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings motions and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with support staff medical professionals and experts to build strong cases.
• Attend hearings depositions and mediations as necessary.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when required.
• Stay uptodate with legal trends regulations and case law related to workers compensation.

Experience you will need:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
• Member of the State Bar of California.
• Superior research analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to proactive case management.
• Clear and conceptual thinking ability.
• Excellent judgment problemsolving and analysis skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
