Overview

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of heart diseases and conditions
• Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty pacemaker implantation and echocardiograms
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs stress tests and cardiac catheterizations
• Provide postoperative care to cardiac patients
• Collaborate with other specialists to optimize patient care and outcomes
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of cardiology
• Ensure compliance with all medical and ethical standards
• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents
• Contribute to quality improvement and research initiatives
• Participate in oncall schedules as required

Required qualifications

• DM or DNB in Cardiology
• Valid medical license to practice as a cardiologist
• Proven experience as a consultant cardiologist
• Exceptional clinical and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
• Experience in conducting and interpreting various cardiac procedures and tests
• Ability to handle highpressure and critical situations
• Sound understanding of ethical and legal standards in healthcare
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• Flexibility to work on a rotating oncall schedule
