Senior Backend Engineer - Remote mwd

Tasks

• Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Design develop and maintain highly scalable performant and reliable backend services and APIs.
• Ensure the security stability and performance of our platform by implementing best practices in software development.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive our backend infrastructure forward.
• Work closely together with our founders CTO and developers.
• Teach your team members best practices and help them grow both on a professional and a personal level.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain a high standard of code quality.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Rust Java or Go.
• Experience working with relational databases NoSQL databases and message queues.
• Deep understanding of software development best practices including unit testing continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Bias toward action and the ability to work proactively without a topdown todo list.
