Job Description:
One of our clients is seeking a meticulous and experienced Data Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems to ensure data integrity security and availability. You will work closely with various departments to support datarelated activities and ensure that our databases operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintain and monitor database systems to ensure optimal performance security and availability.
- Perform regular database backups restores and disaster recovery operations.
- Implement and maintain database security protocols including user access controls and data encryption.
- Optimize database performance through regular maintenance tasks such as indexing query optimization and resource management.
- Collaborate with developers analysts and other stakeholders to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain database documentation including data models schemas and procedures.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Over 4 years of proven experience as a Data Administrator Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle or SQL Server.
- Proficiency in SQL and database programming languages.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with data backup recovery and security protocols.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
