Context
Within the department Compliance and risk you will be responsible for managing fraud risk in orderto protect our merchants in instore and online payment activities and MarketPays interests as anelectronic payment acquirer.
MISSIONS
1. Fraud detection
Define our transaction analysis strategy to identify fraudulent activities such as abnormaltransaction velocity theft of payment information and other equivalent risks;
Ensure that the fraud tools used are up to date by monitoring the rate of nonpayment andmaintaining the merchant and acquirer fraud detection rules;
Create and maintain antifraud rules adapted to our merchants business and the constantlychanging environment;
Supporting our merchants in their risk prevention initiatives.
2. Run management
Define clear KPIs to monitor the performance of our payments versus the associated fraud;
Avoid financial penalties (schemes) linked to noncompliance with ICS target rates on fraudand nonpayment;
Obtain a competitive fraud rate to offer exemptions to virtuous merchants (TRA
acquirer/issuer);
Manage our partners to meet our SLAs and reduce all risks;
Ensure level 3 management of very complex tickets and find workarounds for unexpectedcases while exercising discernment and escalating the most critical problems;
3. Project management
Coordination of projects to optimize the fight against fraud (integration of a new antifraudtool for example).
4. Leading the fight against fraud
Share your knowledge of fraud and methodology with all internal MarketPay teams
(including data management and legal teams);
Provide functional support (awarenessraising and training) to the Operations team and theCSM team in matters of fraud and risk;
Represent MarketPay in interbank and industry groups on merchant and acquirer fraud.
Qualifications :
5 years experience or more in reducing the risk of online fraud in the ecommerce sector orin payment processing;
Experience of Visa and MasterCard risk management tools (including 3DSecure AVS etc.);
Experience of alternative payment methods and their risks;
Preferably trained as a computer engineer or data management engineer;
Excellent social skills and ability to work with geographically remote and diverse teams;
Fluency in English ;
Resultsoriented ;
Reactive and autonomous: you think fast and your experience enables you to make decisions
in a fastmoving environment.
