Job Description: SQL & Database Expert (Remote)

Position Overview: As a SQL & Database Expert at Infosysta you will be responsible for managing and optimizing database systems to ensure seamless operation and data integrity. This role requires a deep understanding of SQL databases including Oracle and Microsoft and expertise in both frontend user interfaces and backend data organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define user requirements and monitor user access permissions and security.
• Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to frontend users.
• Plan conceptual database designs considering both backend organization and frontend accessibility.
• Refine logical designs to translate them into specific data models.
• Enhance physical design to meet system storage requirements.
• Install and test new releases of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
• Maintain data standards including compliance with Data Protection Act regulations.
• Write database documentation including data standards procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata).
• Control privilege and access settings for users.
• Develop manage and test backup and recovery plans.
• Ensure the validity of storage procedures and archiving processes.
• Implement capacity planning strategies.
• Collaborate closely with IT project managers database developers and multimedia programmers.
• Regularly communicate with application specialists operations and technicians to ensure database security and integrity.
• Evaluate and install new applications and customize existing applications to fit their purpose.
• Manage security and disaster recovery aspects of the database.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• More than 7 years of experience as a SQL & Database Expert.
• Proficiency in SQL database management systems including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detailoriented with a focus on data accuracy and security.
