Senior Software Engineer - Python C - Freelancer

*Position Overview:*

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to solve issues related to device control software. We are running new models and have encountered performance problems especially with algorithms and software refactoring leading to slow performance.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with device control software and the models it runs.

Improve the performance of algorithms and refactor (restructure existing code without changing its external behavior) existing code to enhance efficiency.

Work with a Python library that bridges the control software (written in C#) and the algorithmic models.

Ensure soft realtime performance requirements are met.

Collaborate closely with the team to understand the problems and deliver solutions within a week.

*Requirements:*

Strong proficiency in Python and C#.

Proven experience with software refactoring and performance optimization.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex software issues.

Familiarity with algorithmic models and their integration with device control software.

Experience with soft realtime systems.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly.
