الوصف الوظيفي
The QC Microbiologist will perform the analysis of samples for API testing Environmental analysis and Water Testing in a timely manner according to approved analytical procedures. A successful candidate will ensure that the analysis is performed in accordance with the Production / Shipping plan and will validate and implement new microbiological methods as needed.
The role will also include:
- Perform analysis such as: APIs water sampling environmental monitoring sterile water and nonroutine samples. Growth promotions of media and microorganism identification and plan work to ensure that it is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the production and shipping schedules. Analysis is performed according to approved analytical SOPs and as per relevant specification
- Compile results and submit to the Senior Microbiologist / QC Manager in a timely manner and it is important that attention is paid to the detail of the SOP and documentation and peer review for tests such as Growth Promotions and Microorganism Identifications
- Perform and raise any Unplanned Events or Out of Specification results in a timely manner and must inform the Senior Microbiologist / QC Manager immediately of any such events adhere to the Ipsen safety and environmental policies and participate in and drive continuous improvement projects.
The successful applicant will have a science degree (Microbiological focus) and relevant industry experience within a GMP laboratory. Work with minimal supervision; able to perform under pressure to competing demands and stakeholders; strong customer focus. They will have a keen interest in Microbiology and a desire to gain experience in a fastpaced environment.
