We are looking for a Californialicensed Structural Engineer to work on various structural engineering projects evaluating selecting and adapting standard techniques procedures and design criteria; working closely with the management and Project Managers to prepare project documents; solving complex engineering problems; and coordinating with the CAD team.
Job Title: Project Engineer (Structural)
Job Location: Santa Ana CA
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Duties
- Complete engineering projects and tasks to the satisfaction of the Project Managers and clients
- Provide accurate and professional structural engineering calculations reports and details
- Understand project budgets to ensure alignment with company goals
- Resolve client disputes for engineering projects to ensure overall client satisfaction
- Responsible for engineering projects
- Manage workloads and drive teams under tight deadlines
- Confirm that the correct design and specification standards are being used
Requirements
- Education Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Civil preferred
- Structural Engineer 5 years of structural engineering design and analysis experience
- Certifications/License California P.E./S.E.
- Project Experience 5 years experience designing steel concrete masonry tiltup and woodframed Commercial Retail Residential Light Industrial and Government buildings and structures in Southern California; Lowrise/Midrise
