JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Tax Management:
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.
- Preparation and filing of tax returns (income tax VAT/GST/SST etc.).
- Developing tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
- Conducting tax planning and forecasting.
- Liaising with tax authorities and handling tax audits.
- Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
2. Treasury Management:
- Managing cash flow and liquidity.
- Monitoring and forecasting cash flow positions.
- Developing and implementing strategies to maximize cash resources.
- Managing banking relationships and negotiating banking terms.
- Overseeing cash management systems and processes.
- Evaluating and managing financial risks including foreign exchange and interest rate risks.
- Investing excess cash and managing shortterm investments.
- Ensuring compliance with debt covenants and managing debt financing.
3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Providing financial analysis and reporting related to tax and treasury activities.
- Preparing financial statements and reports related to treasury operations.
- Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
4. Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Establishing and maintaining internal controls related to tax and treasury functions.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Participating in internal and external audits.
5. Strategic Planning and Advisory:
- Providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management regarding tax and treasury matters.
- Contributing to the development of overall financial strategies and goals.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborating with other departments such as finance legal and operations.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders including executives board members and external parties.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Implementing best practices in tax and treasury management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Skills
1. Technical Tax Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of tax laws regulations and compliance requirements for Thailand Malaysia and Singapore.
- Ability to interpret tax codes and apply them to organizational operations.
2. Treasury Management Skills:
- Proficiency in cash flow management liquidity forecasting and cash management strategies.
- Knowledge of financial instruments including hedging techniques for managing financial risks.
3. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports related to treasury operations.
4. Risk Management:
- Understanding of financial risks such as foreign exchange interest rate and credit risks.
- Ability to develop and implement risk management strategies.
5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal stakeholders (senior management departments) and external parties (tax authorities banks)
6. ProblemSolving and DecisionMaking:
- Analytical mindset to identify issues and develop solutions.

7. Project Management:
- Experience in managing projects related to tax compliance treasury operations or financial reporting.

- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to tax and treasury functions.
- Ability to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in finance and accounting or professional certifications (e.g. CPA ACCA etc).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar role
- Relevant insurance and contact center (BPO) experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial regulations tax laws and compliance requirements is essential.
- Experience in insurance or assistance industry.
- Excellent written and spoken English. It would be an added advantage if candidate speaks Thai
- Working Hour : 9AM 6PM
- Working Days : Monday Friday
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 days office 2 days home)
- Accepting applicants with current roles as Assistant Manager with relevant experience in similar role
