Pay Rate:
- Florida/Arizona/Remote: $57.00/Hr on W2
- Alabama/Colorado/Texas: $63.00/HR on W2
- Washington/California/Virginia: $69.00/Hr on W2
Responsibilities:
- Finite Element Model development refinement validation and correlation to tests
- Rigid and flexible body dynamics
- Modeling simulation and verification of spacecraft launch docking and landing events
- Acceleration shock and vibration measurement and data interpretation of ground and flight tests
- General loads development for spacecraft and related ground systems
- Support configuration development and trade studies
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical aerospace or civil engineering
- 25 years of experience in the prediction/validation of low and/or highfrequency structural dynamics and loads in addition to finite element modeling
- A solid foundation of structural static/dynamic fundamentals
- Passion for spacecraft structural/environmental loads development/validation
- Ability to solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems using physicsbased analytical methods (hand calculations inhouse tools and 3rd party commercial analytical tools)
- Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Spacecraft and launch vehicle loads development/validation experience
- Hyperworks NASTRAN and Matlab proficiency
- LSDyna proficiency
- Adams proficiency
- Wave6 proficiency
- SEA proficiency
- High frequency environment prediction skills related to spacecraft and launch vehicles
