Job description
Applicants for this role should possess prior experience in managing construction site clinics working with Health Safety and Environment (HSE) officers engaging with procurement officers and offering expertise in occupational safety and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) product support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential clients market trends and competitors. Stay updated on the latest developments in the Construction and Oil & Gas industry.
- Thoroughly understand the products equipment or services being sold. Be able to explain their features benefits and applications to potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial professionals HSE officers site nurses and procurement officers. Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and concerns of each customer.
- Identify and generate leads through various methods such as cold calling networking attending conferences and utilizing online resources.
- Set and achieve sales targets and quotas. Monitor sales performance and take necessary actions to meet or exceed goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate the market and increase market share. This may involve pricing strategies promotions and discounts.
- Arrange and conduct product demonstrations for professionals to showcase the products capabilities and benefits.
- Provide training and education to customers on how to use and maintain the products. Ensure customers are informed about any updates or improvements.
- Handle order processing including preparing quotes managing contracts and ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations guidelines and industry standards especially in the healthcare sector.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities customer interactions and market research. Prepare regular reports for management.
- Work closely with other departments within the organization such as marketing product development and customer support to ensure a coordinated approach to customer satisfaction.
- Continuously update your knowledge of PPE and occupational safety products and services attending training sessions and staying informed about new developments in the field.
- Depending on the scope of the job you may be required to travel to meet with clients attend conferences or conduct product demonstrations.
Qualifications:
- 12 years experience in sales
- Experience in construction oil and gas industry
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
- Demonstrable track record of overachieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skill in English
- Valid driving license
