Job Summary: The Event Assistant will support the Event Manager in planning organizing and executing a variety of events. This role involves administrative tasks coordinating event logistics and ensuring the smooth operation of events. The ideal candidate is detailoriented highly organized and possesses excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
- Maintain event files and records including contracts invoices and attendee lists.
- Prepare and distribute eventrelated documents and materials.
- Manage eventrelated correspondence and communications.

Onsite Event Support:
- Assist with event setup registration and teardown.
- Provide onsite support to ensure events run smoothly including troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Serve as a point of contact for event attendees vendors and staff.

Marketing and Promotion:
- Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials including flyers brochures and social media content.
- Assist in managing eventrelated social media accounts and updating event information on the company website.

Budget and Financial Management:
- Track event expenses and assist in managing event budgets.
- Process payments and handle invoicing.

PostEvent Activities:
- Conduct postevent evaluations to gather feedback and assess event success.
- Compile and present event reports to the Event Manager.
- Assist in the inventory and storage of event materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
