The Financial Manager is responsible for the financial planning management and reporting for the food and beverage company. This role involves managing budgets overseeing accounting operations preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Financial Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure the financial success and sustainability of the company.
- Supervises and lead financial Accounts and collection dept. in the regular daytoday functions.
- Planning and implementing work objectives and schedules for specific accounting processes in order to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business
- Ensures the effective implementation of work objectives through leadership of a specialist team setting objectives managing performance developing and motivating employees in order to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved.
- Preparing the financials statement and various financial statements.
- Prepare reports and routine financial data from statistical and financial information according to stated schedules so that all required information is available for review in a timely manner.
- Identifies investigates and rectifies routine errors and anomalies in data and reports so that all financial data can be relied upon.
- Managing the monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal and external parties.
- Review and manage receivables ageing report and follow up collection dept. to collect the outstanding on time and deal with client s problems to solve it.
- Maintains cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements.
- Monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions Oversee of suppliers /Vendors payments in accordance with company policies.
- Preparation and maintenance of various stock reports.
- Oversee of monthly payroll vacation dues etc.
- Coordinate in monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate with the external and internal auditors required.
- lead the implementation of the ERP .
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 57 years of experience in financial management preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of financial principles practices and regulations.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
Familiarity with food and beverage industry trends and challenges.
